Indian Americans top White House list of nominations and appointments

Seven Indian Americans and Pakistani Americans are on the White House list of nominations and appointments for key positions in the Biden Administration.

Several nominations were re-nominations: President Joe Biden announced them last year, but they have not yet completed the Senate confirmation process. Appointments, on the other hand, do not need Senate confirmation.
