Indian Overseas Forum request a Consulate to be set up in Dammam

The demand comes as a result of the present arrangement that Indians need to travel more than 500 km to reach the Riyadh Embassy for all purposes.

Indian Overseas Forum has sent a letter to the Union Ministry of External Affairs requesting the establishment of an Indian Consulate in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The request was made in a letter to Union External Affairs Minister S Jayashankar by Sajeev Kumar, Saudi National President of the Indian Overseas Forum.
