Smriti Mandhana, India's star opening batswoman, has been named the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year for her outstanding performance across all forms in 2021

Despite a difficult year for Indian Women's cricket, Mandhana's raging form with the bat was spot on. The top award, the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, was won by the ace player over fellow nominees Tammy Beaumont of England, Lizelle Lee of South Africa, and Gaby Lewis of Ireland.
