Indian Doctor Radhika Batra receives Goalkeepers Global Goals Award

The Delhi-based doctor, who was named as the Forbes 30-30 Asia Honoree in 2019, believes “that providing access to health care is one of the biggest challenges which must be overcome to achieve health for all.”

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation recently announced Indian Doctor Radhika Batra as one of the four recipients of its Goalkeepers Global Goals Awards, given to changemakers who advance the United Nations Sustainable Development goals (SDGs) in their communities and around the world.

Batra received the 2022 Progress Award for her work to tackle health inequalities by providing last-mile health solutions to disadvantaged children, through her nonprofit organization Every Infant Matters. In doing so, she has contributed in achieving SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 10: Reducing Inequalities.
