Directed by Shaunak Sen, the documentary ‘All That Breathes’ follows two brothers’ journey as they dedicate their lives to saving a bird known as the black kite, which has become a victim of stormy times.
The organizers of the Cannes Film Festival announced on Thursday that ‘All That Breathes’, a documentary by Delhi-based filmmaker Shaunak Sen, will be part of the festival's special screening this year.
The 90-minute film follows two brothers, Nadeem and Saud, as they work with injured black kites, the nonhuman victims of Delhi's failing ecosystem. The two brothers devote their lives in order to protect the bird.
