On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met World Economic Forum President Borge Brende. The two had insightful discussions about a variety of topics. During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized India's efforts to strengthen the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as recent economic reforms.

"With the reshoring of global supply chains and the quest for geographical diversification in their redistribution, India offers a safe and stable destination and could emerge as an important hub for global manufacturing," the WEF President said.
