The global cost-cutting measures implemented by the tech giants, including layoffs and cautious hiring, are said to have a minimal but noticeable influence on Google, Microsoft, and Apple employees in India.

Microsoft announced last Wednesday that it had cut down 1 percent of its 180,000 employees. After its fiscal year ended on June 30, the corporation began making employment layoffs. It also changed the responsibilities and business groups. By the end of the current fiscal year, the company intends to hire more staff. Meanwhile, Google is to hire fewer people in 2022, according to a memo written internally by the company's CEO Sundar Pichai.
