In a span of 30 days, an Indian expat living in Dubai ran thirty 42-kilometer marathons. Shafi Thayyil, who has lived in the UAE since 2002, took part in the Dubai Fitness Challenge and accomplished the tough challenge.
Thayyil started running in 2006 as the owner of an IT firm called 800 Fixing. Thayyil chose to up the ante this year for the Fitness Challenge after completing multiple local runs, international marathons, Iron Man competitions, and 100 km runs.
