Dubai- based NRI entrepreneur announced a monetary reward of $1,34,447 (Rs 1 Crore) to the goalkeeper of the Indian Hockey team, PR Sreejesh. The reward comes after the Indian men’s Hockey team won a historic bronze medal at the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics.

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil appreciated the player’s efforts during the Olympic Games and congratulated him personally through a phone call post his victory at Tokyo. The Malayali business owner was especially proud of Sreejesh’s achievements as the hockey player hails from Kerala.
