Indian wins talent contest in Singapore

Tamil Nadu-born Ganesan Sandhirakasan has won the top prize in a Singapore government-initiated talent competition, taking home prize money of SGD 1,000 (USD 743).

Hailing from Tamil Nadu, 33-year-old Sandhirakasan choreographed and performed a sequence of Silambam - a traditional martial art form practised in India, garnering maximum number of likes and views for his video on the @sg4mw TikTok account, beating 19 other shortlisted individuals.
