Indian-Origin Cardiologist killed in California plane crash

The plane crash took place at around 12.15 pm on Monday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It crashed near Santana High School in Santee. The fire that engulfed had burnt at least two homes and some vehicles.

Indian-Origin Cardiologist killed in California plane crash

An Indian American owned Cessna C340 aircraft crashed in the US state of California on Monday resulting in the death of Dr Sugaya Das, a cardiologist and also a physician. A major fire also engulfed due to the plane crash and caused some destruction in the nearby areas.

Dr Das, who owns the Cessna, served as an Interventional Cardiologist at Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC), Arizona. There is no confirmation if he was the pilot at the time of the crash.
