Indian-origin man in US sentenced for running fraud covid-19 scheme

US Attorney Philip Sellinger reported on July 21,2022 that Sheridan had handed down the 46-month sentence in the Trenton federal court.

Despite the covid-19 pandemic, a 27-year-old man of Indian descent scammed victims by making false promises to them as part of a US $2 million scheme. He was given a sentence of almost four years in prison for his involvement.

Guaravjit Raj Singh of Montgomery, New Jersey, please guilty to one count of wire fraud before US District Court Judge Peter Sheridan.
