Indian origin student first bullied then suspended by Texas school
While incidents of bullying are not uncommon in schools, what caused outrage among the netizens was the reaction of Shaan’s school towards the incident.
A video that has sparked widespread outrage on the internet shows an Indian- origin student being strangled by a white student in Coppell Middle School North, Texas. The Indian student identified as Shaan Pritmani, in the viral video, can be seen being bullied by the white student to vacate his cafeteria chair.
When Shaan refuses saying, “No, I’m not getting up. There is literally no one sitting here,” his aggressor holds him by the neck in a tight chokehold dragging him out of the chair and down to the floor. The other students can be heard reacting to the incident in the video.
