Indian origin teen receives a perfect ACT score
Dia Chawla, an 18-year-old Indian-origin high school student, received a perfect score on the ACT.

Dia Chawala, a student at Pillow Academy in Greenwood, Mississippi, received a 36 on the ACT. However, she believes that the standardized exam utilized for college admissions in the United States, where students' scores determine their chances of admittance to a competitive institution, has flaws.
"I genuinely despise the ACT because I believe it is a very unfair exam. It isn't a criterion for intellect. It's a measure of preparedness and how easily you can get the materials you need to prepare," said Chawla.
