The Indian Overseas Congress, USA, has condoled the death of senior Congress leader Oscar Fernandes who passed away on Sept 13 in a private hospital at Mangalurur, Karnataka. Fernandes was 80.

“Known as much for his simplicity as for his talent, Oscar ji played a critical role not only as a party functionary but also as an efficient administrator,” said George Abraham, Vice-Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress, USA.
