Prime Minister Narendra Modi weighed in on the significance of Sanskrit, India's traditional language, urged the Indian Diaspora around the world to cherish and preserve the language in the 80th edition of the monthly radio address 'Mann Ki Baat'.

PM Modi said, "Sanskrit helps nurture knowledge and also national unity, strengthens it. Sanskrit literature comprises the divine philosophy of humanity and knowledge which can captivate anyone's attention."
