Indian conservationist wins UK Wildlife Charity Award

The award was presented to Dr Mishra for his work across the world to protect snow leopards with a community-led approach.

Dr Charudutt Mishra was awarded with a 100,000 pounds Whitley Gold Award by the UK wildlife conservation charity, Whitley Fund for Nature (WFN). The event supporting conservation leaders took place on Wednesday evening, April 27 in London.

The award was presented to Dr Mishra for his work across the world to protect the cat with a community-led approach. It also enabled him to replicate the method on other continents.
