Indian Startup made country’s first self-balancing scooter

The self-balancing scooter makes moving easier and provides impact protection. In the event of a collision, the scooter will automatically counterbalance, preventing a fall that would occur on a two-wheeler.

A group of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) graduates have developed India’s first self-balancing and autonomous scooter. Liger Mobility, a Mumbai based startup founded by this group, has been working on this scooter for a few years and the setup appears to be almost ready for production.

Co-founders Ashutosh Upadhyay and Vikas Poddar formed the startup in 2016 to address the issues related to two-wheeler accidents in India and to provide a user-friendly experience along with affordability.
