Indian Students Association celebrate Indian culture in Kansas

Classical dance by the Nartan Academy of Dance, Odissi dance from the Eastern state of Odisha, a dance arrangement set to a medley of Bollywood music was one of the many highlights of the event.

The Indian Students Association of Kansas State University hosted an annual cultural event called “Sanskriti,” a celebration of Indian culture at the K-State Student Union Forum Hall.

The event celebrated Indian art and culture by bringing a variety of art forms to the K-State community's doorstep. Hindustani Sitar concert, Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam, Bhangra, Parai, and Kummiyattam, which reflect the culture of various states of India, were among the classical and traditional performances organized.
