The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) recently named Divya Sijwali (17) and Parth Puri (16) as the winners of its inaugural World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge for their sustainable footwear brand Tyron.

Tyron, run by Divya and Parth won US $5000 because of its sustainable business model that recycles discarded airplane tyres to craft stylish and quality footwear. Their brand provides employment to local Indian  cobblers, who are otherwise driven into debt or explored by big brands in the footwear industry.
