Indian women’s junior handball team creates history in the U-20 World Championships

The Indian women's junior handball team made history by winning the U-20 World Championships for the first time at Celje and Lasko in Slovenia.

The Indian team defeated Iran 31-30 in ranking placements. This is the first victory by an Indian team at a World Championship including both men's and women's any age-group World Championships.
