Indian wrestlers clinch back to back golds at the CWG 2022

India’s six wrestlers won six medals in Day 8 of the Commonwealth games to take India to the fifth place in the medal standings with 26 total medals.

After the medals rush in Weightlifting, India’s wrestling contingent elevated India’s medal tally at the 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) by clinching three back too back gold medals along with one silver and two bronze on Friday.

The headliners include Ace wrestler and Tokyo Olympics bromze medalist Bajrang Punia who successfully defended his CWG title while Sakshi Malik and Deepak Punia cliched their first ever CWG Gold.
