Indians are open to spending despite inflation blues: Survey

Indians are prioritizing personal care and well-being, traveling for business, showing interests in purchasing new vehicles, and are actively exploring leisure travel, the survey pointed out.

A Global State of the Consumer Tracker survey by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP (DTTILLP) revealed that Indian consumers readily spend on various luxury and personal care products in spite of the rising inflation worries.

The survey found that an increasing number of Indians believe in “living in the moment” as they adjust to a life after the pandemic, after over a year and half of being confined to their homes.
