Indians cannot fly to the UK on European Union airlines such as Air France, Lufthansa, and KLM transit through their hubs in Paris, Frankfurt/Munich, and Amsterdam unless they have a transit or regular Schengen visa.

This decision was taken keeping in mind the Brexit (the withdrawal of the UK from the EU). The European Union had made it mandatory for non-EU citizens to have a Schengen visa in order to fly to the UK on transit flights operated by EU carriers.
