India’s passport power has improved this year. It is ranked 83rd on the Henley Passport Index, having climbed seven positions since its position at 90th in the previous quarter.

The Henley Passport Index has been published by the London-based citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners since 2005. Using data provided by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the index ranks the strength of all the passports in the world according to how easy it is for citizens of various countries to travel without a prior visa.
