India’s young futurist Bisht to speak in the UN debate

India’s 29-year-old Pupul Bisht, a globally recognized thought leader advocating for the power of storytelling in shaping inclusive futures, is gearing up to participate in a panel discussion titled ‘Effective and inclusive Institutions: For Justice, equality and trust’ at the second SDG Moment of the Decade of Action, convened by the United Nations Secretary-General, to be held virtually on Sept 20.

As the world continues to grapple with the Covid-19 pandemic and other major challenges, the SDG Moment will seek to reinforce the continued relevance of Agenda 2030 as well as the need for equitable, inclusive, and accelerated efforts in response to current and future challenges. The event is part of the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 2021 starting from Sept 21.
