IndiGo became the first airline in the country on Thursday to land a plane at Rajasthan's Kishangarh airport using the Indigenous navigation system GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation (GAGAN).

According to the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the successful trial was a remarkable achievement and an important milestone in the history of the country's civil aviation industry in the field of Air Navigation Services (ANS). According to the statement, India is the first country in the Asia Pacific Region to accomplish such a feat.
