International Customs Day (ICD) is celebrated on Jan. 26 worldwide, with the United Nations serving as the host. It is an annual event designed to recognize and celebrate customs officials and agencies' contribution in guaranteeing the smooth flow of commodities across international borders.

This year the World Customs Organization (WCO) Secretariate organized an event including a parade through Brussels at the iconic Manneken-Pis statue which was dressed in a Customs officer’s uniform to mark the occasion.
