Jaishankar meets with the European Union's High Representative

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with the European Union's (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell Fontelles, on Monday to address the strategic aspects of India-EU cooperation, as well as global hot spots such as Afghanistan and Myanmar.
"Our first chat of the year was with EU HRVP Josep Borrell. Trade and investment, connectivity, climate action, and strategic aspects of India-EU collaboration were all reviewed, " said Jaishankar after speaking with the EU representative.
