Jaishankar unveils plaque in memory of fallen Indian Soldiers in Israel
Jaishankar also visited the Ovda Air Force Base in Israel to meet the Indian Air Force contingent participating in the Multi Nation exercise Blue Flag 2021.

External Affairs Minister Jaishankar unveiled a plaque at Ra’anana in the memory of Indian Soldiers who laid down their lives in the Battle of Tabsor during World War 1. The unveiling of the plaques marks the start of establishing an Indian trail in the region marking the major points where Indian soldiers fought and made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
The trail details India’s great contribution in the region and will involve six plaques at six different places. The plan is to be completed by 2022 to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence.
