Japanese officials visit Kurukshetra University to develop a language course curriculum

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was among those who recently enrolled in Kurukshetra University's three-month online basic certificate course in Japanese culture and language

Kurukshetra University (KU) is launching two Japanese language courses, and a team of curriculum development experts visited the varsity in Haryana on Monday.

"A team of senior experts from Japan International Cooperating Agency (JICA) including Prof Ashok Chawla, Advisor Japan, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India; Joyanto Rabha, Administrator; and Ken Sobajima, Program Coordinator visited Kurukshetra University on Monday to interact with KU Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva and senior academicians," according to a university release.
