Joyce Mehta elected President of South Brunswick Board of Education

She was nominated by Board member MikeMitchell, who said, "successfully won two elections, is an effective communicator, a strong leader, and active community partner."

Joyce Mehta, an Indian-American, was elected President of the South Brunswick Board of Education. She is the first Indian-American and first female President of the Board of Education. In November of last year, Mehta was elected and has won two BOE elections.

Mehta has more than 20 years of experience working in the School and Government Vertical, focusing on Education Policy, Curriculum, and Mental Health, as well as serving on various district and state education committees in New Jersey.
