US Vice President Kamala Harris spent nearly two hours close to a pipe bomb during the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot in a major security breakdown. That day, the Indian American leader drove within a few yards of a pipe bomb that was lying next to a bench outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters.

It was previously known that Harris was inside the DNC headquarters when the bomb was discovered outdoors, but the new report sheds light on how near she got to it and how long she stayed before being removed.
