Jaswinder Singh Multani, a key member of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), was arrested in Germany for allegedly being the principal conspirator in the December 23 blast at the Ludhiana district court complex, which killed one person and wounded five others.

He was arrested after India provided evidence to counter-terror agencies in Berlin. An official said, "We shared all the evidence that we gathered from the blast spot and also how the conspiracy by Multani was hatched."
