Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw Elected as fellow of Royal Society of Edinburgh

Mazumdar-Shaw will be listed alongside other eminent RSE fellows such as American Founding Father and inventor Benjamin Franklin and Scottish inventor James Watt who is famous for his work on the world’s first modern steam engine and many others.

The Executive Chairperson of Biocon Biologics, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, has been elected as a fellow of the prestigious Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE), Scotland’s National Academy.

Mazumdar-Shaw will be joining the Royal society of Edinburgh’s present fellowship of around 1,700 fellows, some of whom consist of eminent thinkers, researchers and practitioners currently working in Scotland.
