Late photojournalist Danish Siddiqui among four Indians to win Pulitzer in 2022
Siddiqui died aged 38 last year while on an assignment in Afghanistan.

Danish Siddiqui, a slain photojournalist, is one of the four Indians to get the Pulitzer Prize for feature photography this year.
Siddiqui and his colleagues Adan Abidi, Sanna Irshad Mattoo, and Amit Dave of the Reuters news agency are the four Indians who won the award for “images of Covid's toll in India that balanced intimacy and devastation, while offering viewers a heightened sense of place,” according to The Pulitzer Prizes website.
