Lens View: Delhi Air Pollution force schools shut till further orders
Trucks carrying non-essential items have been banned from entering the national capital Delhi till Sunday.

India's capital Delhi’s overall air quality index (AQI) on Wednesday morning remained in the ‘very poor’ category as it was recorded at 379 by 7 am, according to the Ministry of Earth Sciences’ air quality monitor SAFAR.

Meanwhile, the Delhi government has decided to shut schools and other educational institutions, and ban the entry of vehicles from outside, except for essential services till further orders amid rising pollution levels in the national capital, State Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced on Wednesday.
