Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF) has launched "A Journey to Find Mutual Value in Indo-Japan Food Culture," as part of its preparations to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Japan in 2022.

For the promotion, they have posted a Japanese summer weather recipe on their official website for people living in the hotter parts of India. In May and June of each year, New Delhi and northwestern states of India suffer a period of extreme heat.
