Many lessons to learn from India in diplomacy: Maldives Defence Forces Chief

Major General Shamaal praised the Indian Armed Forces for having members from different religions, states, and castes during his talk with the cadets in front of senior and retired officers of the Indian Armed Forces, emphasizing how they ate, lived, played, trained, and battled together.

Chief of the Maldives Defense Forces Major General Abdulla Shamaal praised India and said that there are many things to be learned from it in terms of international relations, diplomacy, and the development of an inclusive political and democratic system. He spoke to officer cadets of the Indian Army while reviewing the passing out parade at the Indian Army Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

125 Gentlemen and 41 Women cadets were commissioned into the Indian Army's various Arms and Services during the military parade at the OTA.
