ISRO to build satellite for border security

The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs organized a high-level conference to explore space technology for border security a day after the ISRO successfully launched the Earth Observation Satellite-04 atop its PSLV. ISRO will assist the Amit Shah-led ministry in monitoring India's borders with China, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The meeting will focus on ISRO's dedicated satellite to monitor real-time information along borders with Pakistan, China and Bangladesh.

The satellite will assist soldiers in protecting these borders by providing real-time information to their command. Moreover, with growing activity on the border between India and China in recent years, improved monitoring will aid the government in devising stronger tactics in the future to tackle any unanticipated circumstances.
