Multitude of Indian American high school seniors named Regeneron scholars in science talent search 2022

The top 300 scholars in the Regeneron Scientific Talent Search 2022, the nation's oldest and most renowned science and math competition for high school seniors, were announced Jan. 6 by the Society for Science, and includes a diverse group of Indian and South Asian youngsters. According to a news statement, each of the 300 scholars and their institutions will get $2,000.

From 1,804 applications submitted from 603 high schools in 46 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and eight other countries, the Regeneron Science Talent Search scholars were chosen. Scholars were chosen based on their outstanding research abilities, academic commitment, innovative thinking, and scientific promise, as evidenced by their original, independent research projects, essays, and letters of reference.
