Neil Basu in the running to be Chief of UK’s National Crime Agency

Neil Basu, an Indian-origin British counterterror cop, the most senior police officer of Asian heritage, is among the front-runners to become the next director-general of the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA).

If elected, Basu will be replacing Lynne Owens to be the first Indian and Asian origin British officer to hold the position.
