New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal has resigned office for a position at the US Exchange and the Securities Commission, said Gov Phil Murphy.

On June 28, the prominent Sikh-American had announced the launch of a new office in the Department of Law and Public Safety, which would work extensively on documenting, analyzing, and publishing statewide data on criminal justice and public safety matters.
