The New Jersey Leadership Program (NJLP) has announced that applications for the NJLP Summer Fellowship Program 2022 are now available. This Fellowship will expose south Asian students in New Jersey to local government and politics. The deadline for applications is Feb. 25, 2022, and interested applicants can apply online at www.njlead.org.

According to a news release, the NJLP Summer Fellowship Program is a six-week initiative in which youths of South Asian Origin in New Jersey are placed in full-time internships with the Governor's Office, State Agencies, Members of Congress, or State Legislators. The Fellowship also offers a weekly speakership series with elected officials, senior government staffers, business executives, nonprofit leaders, and others, in addition to the internship.
