New Labour Law in the UAE

Article 13 of the same law, titled 'Obligations of employer' lays out all of the obligations and responsibilities that companies have toward their employees.

President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued Federal Decree-Law No 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations, which will go into force soon. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, announced the law, which would replace Federal Law No. (8) of 1980, during a news conference on Nov. 15.

Companies in the UAE's private sector have a variety of obligations as employers in the employment market, including creating a safe working environment for employees and providing them with the support they need to enhance their abilities as employees.
