NISM renews accreditation of Certified Financial Planner Certification in India
NISM's current accreditation of the CFP certification is effective from March 1, 2022, to Feb. 28, 2024, and is eligible to be extended every two years, subject to programme monitoring and approval by NISM.
The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) has renewed the accreditation of the certified financial planner (CFP) certification program in India.
According to a news release, the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) of the Certified Financial Planner certification program, requires accreditation from NISM. This allows CFP professionals who provide investment advice to register as investment advisers under the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
