Tokyo wrestling medalist duo of Bajrang Punia and Ravi Dahiya will not be getting direct entries into the final of their respective categories for the Commonwealth Games (CWG) and Asian Games selection trials.

The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has made the decision to not offer special treatments to popular wrestlers after their decision of giving direct entries to few of them in the selection trials for the Asian Championships was severely criticized by other wrestlers who termed the decision as “unfair.”
