From April 26, up to 50,000 migrant workers living in dormitories and working in Singapore's labor-intensive industries will be permitted to roam freely among the community on weekends and public holidays, up from the current 30,000 limit.

The migrant workers, who are mostly from India, Bangladesh, and China, are allowed to take up to eight hours off each day, whether it is during the week or on weekends.
