NSW government to launch first multilingual mental health helpline

The helpline, which will be handled by top doctors, is scheduled to begin in November and will be accessible in over 30 languages.

The New South Wales (NSW) Government has set aside AU$2.4 billion for mental health services for the 2020-21 budget. It has launched a AU$80 million effort package to improve mental health care during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Mental health recovery is investing AU$130 million to assist individuals whose mental health has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
