New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently announced the appointment of Dilip Chauhan as the Deputy Commissioner of Trade, Investment, and Innovation for International Affairs.

Speaking of his new role, Chauhan said, "As we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic's impact, I will endeavor to recruit and maintain firms and foreign direct investments across our five boroughs." He added, "I would prioritize cooperation in Smart Cities, Sister Cities agreements, crypto-related initiatives, and cross-state international commercial development."
